The field check before you open.
Most guys obsess over the sentence. The sentence matters less than the signal your body sends before it. Run these four checks before every rep.
The posture check
Feet planted, shoulders down, chin neutral. Don't lean into her space. Calm posture tells her you can handle whatever answer she gives.
The voice check
Drop the speed 20%. End sentences down, not up. Nervous guys ask every sentence like they're asking permission to exist.
The eye-contact check
Look, speak, let your eyes move naturally. Staring is pressure. Darting away is fear. Warm and steady is the lane.
The distance check
Start farther than feels necessary. If she's interested, the distance will shrink by itself. If it doesn't, don't force it.
Read her before you read your lines.

The principles
- Ask once, clean, then read the room. Yes? Done — stop selling. Hesitation or a no? Take it at face value.
- Statement, not a question. "Let's grab coffee — give me your number" beats "can I maybe get your number?"
- Attach a real plan tied to something she said. "I'm taking you to that taco spot you mentioned" beats a bare number ask.
The exit
Once you've closed — number or no — leave. Don't hover, don't re-ask “so are we actually gonna hang?” Smile, “great to meet you,” and go. The last 30 seconds shouldn't undo the last ten minutes.
